I Better Get Going
Afternoon sun through tall windows.
Or sinking into the sand.
It’s nice to be warm and just listen.
The lit wall of the mind waits. New memory.
Like when my dad used to load the slide into the little tray…
Can you believe someone once stole my dog’s name?
An adult with an adult problem.
The failure of imagination is the pits.
I cried and cried, then held a grudge.
Same thing now. Godspeed.
