A Good Cry

Overheard conversations are best.
“That’s a pretty big bear. Do you love it?” Etc.
I’m always walking by or away.
Some people have a knack.
I had spread the new old books on the table.
Some stories we can’t know.
Death means my mother won’t hold my hand again.
“See, I kept my word,” says a woman a few graves over.
Loyalty sounds blue, doesn’t it?
Now the sky has a look and is golden in the treetops.
