Martha Serpas has published four poetry collection including The Dirty Side of the Storm and Double Effect. She co-produced Veins in the Gulf, a documentary about southern Louisiana’s coastal erosion crisis. She teaches creative writing at the University of Houston and serves as a psychedelic chaplain in clinical trials at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
