Milagros Vilaplana
Milagros Vilaplana, a bilingual writer and translator, enjoys straddling her home cities of Tijuana, Mexico & San Diego, California. Daughter of a Spanish Civil War refugee, born in the US, she has worked as a Child & Family Counselor, Creative Advertising Director and Instructional Designer with major IT & medical firms. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing at SDSU and is a peer reviewer for Poetry International. Her digital poem, “Border Waters” exhibited in ICIDS 2024 (International Conference on Interactive Digital Storytelling) in Barranquilla, Columbia.
